Dr. Alexzandria Baker is a clinical sexologist, sexuality educator and researcher, relationship consultant, and Certified Professional Sex Coach. She is a national presenter on topics of relationships, intimacy, sexuality, and sexual diversity and is recognized as an expert in holistic sexual wellness with over 20 years experience in supporting healthy intimate relationships through the combined application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the sacred spiritual arts.
Alexzandria completed her PhD in Humanistic, Existential, and Transpersonal Psychology from Saybrook University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual concentration in Psychology and Religion from Thomas Edison State University and a Master of Science degree in Mind-Body Medicine also from Saybrook University. She specializes in a wide array of sexual wellness, relationship, and intimacy issues, incorporating the mind-body connection and sacredness in order to form a more holistic base for sexual healing and sexuality education.
Alexzandria is on the Board of Directors for the Absenger Cancer Education Foundation and has lectured nationally on sexual wellness for cancer survivors. She has published peer-reviewed research on the effectiveness of mind-body medicine, including guided imagery, acupuncture, hypnosis, biofeedback, and physical activity, in mitigating sexual dysfunction. Alexzandria is currently conducting research on the intersection of consensual bondage, discipline, and sadomasochism and spiritual experience.
Alexzandria believes in the potential for creating more peaceful and enlightened world via sexual wellness. It is her larger mission promote the development of intelligent, healthy, confident and well-adjusted human beings through helping adult individuals, couples, and groups come into a better understanding of their own sexual selves and sexual relationships, heal from sexual trauma, and eradicate sexual shame.
